Swedish Body Massage is the original massage technique involving a sequence of movements working superficially and deeper into the tissue layers.
Movements such as effleurage work over the skin with the palm of the hand producing relaxation, whereas movements like petrissage work deeply.
Swedish Body Massage uses a mixture of firm, but relaxing strokes, leaving the skin and muscles invigorated but relaxed.
It stimulates the circulation, boosts the immune system, improves muscle tone and encourages toxins to be expelled from the body.
Tension and stiffness in muscles will be relieved, leaving the body feeling relaxed and stress free, providing an overall feeling of well being.
Swedish Body Massage uses the hands to manipulate the soft tissues of the body, particularly the muscles. It can be used for relaxation or stimulation, depending on the client's individual needs.
You can have a 1 hour or 1 and a half hours for a full body treatment, which includes massage of the legs, arms, upper chest, face, back, neck and shoulders.
Alternatively, you can choose shorter treatments, such as a 30 minute back, neck and shoulder massage.
